Evan Almighty
“Evan Baxter is on his way to Congress to “change the world.” Unfortunately, the only thing that seems to be changing is Evan’s address, the car he drives, and his ego. What Evan does not know is that God has some ideas of his own about how to accomplish that goal, and He has chosen Evan to be His man. He tells a skeptical Evan that He wants him to build an ark because a flood is coming. Reluctant at first, Evan finally warms to the project. Along the way, he learns to see things from God’s perspective. Through his obedience, Evan and his family learns lessons about how God works, how to trust Him, and how to persevere when the waters get rough.
